Random Rambling - July 2014

It's just busy, busy and busy over at my end, and I hope it's same for others too with Summer around. I feel like summer vacation was just started couple of days back, and it seems July is almost over. few updates from my end. 

* Last weekend, Dear Daddy did take care of both daughters when grandma was away for 3 days. As I was working, It was him to do everything for them from brushing, bathing and grooming and eating breakfast and Lunch too. must say, he manage pretty well. I will say they had awesome time together. 1st Day when I was working in evening, they had dinner which I made for them and went out at Ba-skin Robins for Ice cream treat and girls were supper happy. Next day they did watch movie and eat some snake with daddy. When I ask him, did they trouble, he was like taking pride, My daughter never trouble me, they are mine, They behaved very well. I was happy to listen that.

* Aaryana is getting very naughty day by day. She loves to play outside and she always want to go for park and always want to bye bye in car. She is the one who is keeping very busy all of us at home. She loves her mini slide. It's hours of fun for her. She learned to do slide other way around from her big sister and now she loves to do that. I took some pics of her doing those silly mistakes. She learns hiding things at home. Most of the time it's her grand ma'a eye glasses. We all will be finding and then we see her playing with it quietly. 2 days back, she was wearing them and pretend as grand maa. She looks very cute and innocent. I really wish time to freeze, as I don't want my baby to grow out. She is our cutest and sweetest princess. I have grown lots of flowers in our back yard garden, and I use to worship god while puja. she see me doing this everyday and now, before I pluck them, she get some for me and for her too. She is always behind her Big sister, she won't let her go to play outside with her friends, specially when she is awake. 

* Ananyaa is supper excited about her dance class. so far she attained 3 classes only, but she is doing pretty well. I was surprise to see her dancing in full flow. Before her vacation ends, I have to take her to beach place and water kingdom. Hope weather stay warm enough to take her those places. They both loves splash, took them few time to play over there. She is learning Maths at home from me and daddy, I feel sorry when she say's it's me who always keep studying in vacation also, you make me to do so. I know, I am little harsh to do so with her, but I guess it's good to make them learn in vacation for hour, I guess that will help her in grade 2 and also it will be manageable once school is started. 

* I love to spend my extra time in our garden, watering plants and taking care of them. Most of the time Ananyaa see me doing so. One day she came to me as she want to have freeze and her grandma was not finding one in freezer. I told her, let me finish what I am doing and then I will give you, which took me little long, she came back again and got upset with me. 

She told me, " Do you love your plants, more than your kids (me) tell me...do you ?" 

And I was like, don't you know, it has life too. They need love and care to grow and give us flowers and fruits and vegetables. 

She replied, I know all that. but tell me you want me to die hungry, I was keep asking you for freeze and you didn't gave me one. 

Me - so you are hungry and that's why being fussy with me, So why don't we have food first and then you can enjoy your freeze as a desert.

She - Ok Mumma, that's a good Idea...but I am really hungry, give me one freeze first. :)  :)

basically, I guess she was not getting that she really need to have food. I have seen, when kids have empty stomach, than they do this silly stuff, and that's what she did that day. She was not getting my point to eat food first. she was all into freeze only. Finally I lost the battle and gave freeze to her. She was at peace and so am I.

Fun Filled Weekend that was - Trip to MarineLand :)

It's pretty busy month so far, with Kids vacations and with full sunshine out there. There are many things to do in summer sun...We had made homemade rice papad last week for winter season, and honestly to say...they turned out supper good. Thanks to Moomy who help me out for that. 

Finally I have enrolled Ananyaa for her Dance classes. She is super excited to do her Bollywood moves and classical dance as well. She waited so long for her dance classes. It was just left behind due to my work schedule and with her Swimming class and her Skating class. I always keep saying her, baby next session, I will surely send  you, and then I couldn't. But her wait it finally over and she is happy...They are practicing on Radha song from movie Student of the year, which is again her favorite song. Looking fwd for her performance. 

Saturday was supper fun day for all of us as we all went to MarineLand amusement park at Niagara Falls, Ontario, along with my best friend and now neighbor. It was full fun filled day for all of us. We all enjoyed a lot. They had some Dolphin show and Sea Lion show as well. Kids were very happy to be there. And as usual, Aaryana was in love with Fish again......She is just 2 so due to her height, she couldn't get into all rides,  Hardly 2 of them but she did enjoyed lot. Me and Daddy was doing turns to take care of her while we were taking rides. In afternoon we all had Lunch together. We took some food with us from home and buy some over there from restaurant. Kids had pizza from restaurant at MarineLand and I must say, it was awesome pizza i have ever eat. too good. After that we did other rides with Kids. We also did Skyscraper ride.....which was thrilled. I was not scared and so as my Friend....Rit's was little scared so he didn't took 2nd time and me and my friend did skyscraper ride for 3 time.....I was thrilled and excited as well. My mom is 62 years and she did that skyscraper ride too....Hats off to her for her daring to take that ride. She says I was not scared but got worried when it came down in one shot. After that we all did Roller Coaster ride as well, which was little scarey for Ananyaa. She meets with heights requirement, so I took her, but then she was so scared and didn't open her eyes at all. 

All in all it was great fun at MarineLand for all of us. Few pic from our fun filled Day.

Friends, Food and Fun

I was eagerly waiting last week to pass by as I was above to meet my school friend after 18 years. Meeting friends is always fun, but meeting friend after 18 years feels really awesome. My friend Urvashi and her family visited us on Monday evening. They all are here to visit Canada for first time, so they are busy exploring Toronto area. They all had dinner with us and kids were busy playing in backyard and I was all busy with her talking and laughing. All in all it was great meeting. We talk about so many people, where we came to know, we are related most of them in different way, makes me feel this Big world is really small. We missed so many of our friend from school days. We met after ages but I didn't feel so, as I wrote before too, we just found each other since last 3 months, but it doesn't seems like we were a-part since 18 years. I feel the same connection with here, which I had in my School days. My friend better half is very jolly person, always joking around and trying to make us laugh and her brother-in-law and her sister-in-law nature was very good too. I am glad they all make it to visit us. 

When we all were busy talking inside and kids playing in backyard. They all were playing baseball and while playing, mistakenly they were steeping on my plant. Ananyaa noticed that and came inside to me with sad face and told me silently which my friend also heard :). She told me mumma they are killing your plant and can you please tell them not to do so. she told me twice and finally my friend told them to be careful with plants. I am glad that she is learning all about nature and that plant are also living things. I was touched by her act and happy that she do care for nature living things too like me. I am so proud of her. They all left late that night to stay at Hotel. I hope they all are having great time in Toronto for site seeing and all.

Lake Side Park Visit :)

Summer time is always busy busy for all around us with kids vacation. It’s so hard to tackle Ananyaa at home. She get bored easily as she is at Home. I tried to enroll her in summer camp, but I can’t go back and forth for pick up and Drop off her every day and for that reason she is at home with her little sister. She do play with her but then after a while she get bored too. It was just 1^st week and so I tried to take her to park away from home past weekend, which was at lake side, Jack Darling Memorial Park in Mississauga, ON. Girls had gala time, watching birds and boat riders on Lake and then playing in park and water splash and eating dinner over at park, which I made at home and carry with us to eat out at Park. Eating out in open space at park watching beautiful view of Toronto city from lake side was fun. Took lots of pics for memories. Aaryana was eagerly waiting to go in water at lake and when I really took her in, she was not ready to put her feet in water as it was too cold. After that they played in water splash and we left late in evening from there. Eating crushed Ice with rainbow color as a treat while coming back home. Both girls enjoyed it lot. FIFA fever is still on all over the world. Yesterday was Brazil and Germany in which Germany back off Brazil with 6 points. That was shameful loss for Brazil and today Argentina and Netherlands, where Argentina back off Netherlands. Now final is on Sunday July, 13th between Germany and Argentina. May the best team win.

Jolly July

It's 1st July, 2014 and Canada is celebrating it's Red and White Day....Happy Canada Day. Canada is a beautiful country. I am so blessed to live here and be called Canadian. This country has given me so much and for that I am so grateful to God !, Dear Husband always says me, It's our and for many others, Karma Bhumi, and our Matru Bhumi, Janma Bhumi is India. I am Proud to be Indian Canadian. Happy B'day to Canada. I just can't believe that half of the year is gone by and we are in month July. As I always says, time is really flying like rocket. I feel it was yesterday only, when we were celebrating New Year Eve and welcoming year 2014 with lots of hope. This half year gone by reminds us that, enjoy every moment of your life, and don't wait for tomorrow.

Last 2 days passed by was way too busy. I was having my cousin sister with her 2 son's staying with us for 2 day. It was so much fun for kids running around the house. They had fun playing and eating Freeze and Popsicle together and in between their small fights were full on. I guess cousin brothers and sisters are like that. They grow old fighting and playing and sharing things with each other. They all left today to their grand parents home and my home is quite with both my girls missing their cousin brother's. 

I was suppose to go USA for wedding which is next weekend, but as I didn't got Off from work, we have to cancel it for that reason. It was more imp to meet extended family from my in-laws side over their in New Jersey then to attain wedding. but can't help it, I didn't got days off, But I am so excited to see my school friend coming next weekend from Florida. We are meeting after 18 years and we even found each other through Face Book since last 3 months only. She is coming with her Family. Once we are in touch, we talk on phone, many times and it doesn't seems that we were a part for this many years. It is all crystal clear in today's date too. I can't wait this week to pass by.
