Proud to be a Gujarati....

Gujuu Jahaan bhi Jate Hai... Chaa Jate Hai...

Hum Gujju Laakho, Carodooo main Ek Hai...
Hum mai itna bhai chara hai ke hum sab ko bhai aur ben keh ke bulate hai....
kisiko joker nahi kethain

Humto humare har khane mai Gud aur Sakher milate hai...taake dimag tej chale aur jubaan par humesha mithas rehain...

tum jo aaj itni Swantatra se tar tar tar jo bol rehain ho, uss swantatra delane mai sabse bada haath Gujju ka hi tha...Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.
wo to sirf dhoti pehante the, jismai ek bhi jeb nahi thi, phir bhi, par unke karam aeisa thee na, ke aaj bharat mai jitni jebe hain, un sabmai ek gandhi bapu hai....

Duniya mai aamiro ke aamir, Dhirubhai Ambani..wo bhi ek gujju hi the, unhone duniya ko sikhaya, Karlo Duniya Muthi mai...

Aur tum jaahan bhi jaoge na, Gujju to tumhai milege hi...chahe Landon ho ya America, aur unhe aagar wahain se nikala gaya na, to unka pura desh apang hojayega...unki bas drivar ko le unki sarkar tak mai guuju hai....

Jaahan tak in Gore logone ye bharat desh pe raj kiya tha na, aaj unhike sehar mai humne aapna ek ilaka basaya hai...aur waha bhi hum jalebi, patra, fafda, khandvi sab banate hai, aur wahi gore log wo bade chow se khate hai, jo hum khilate hai...

Jeiya jeiya vase Gujarati, Tiya Sada kar Gujarat. Jo Khud bolna suru kare aur baki sabki bolti bandh karte hain, wo hai Gujju..

Guuju ka matalab hai Gun ke sath, Josh aur Jom ka Samanmai matlab Gujju...aur muje Garav hai ki mai ek GUJJU Hoon...

Gujarat ek Bharat Desh ka hi Anng hai, Punjab Sindh Gujarat Maratha...Dravid Uthkar Bangal...
jab humare rashtra gaan mai hi Gujarat hai, to tum kyu hum mai aur baki sab deshwasio mai bhed bhav ker rehain ho....Har ek Prant aur ek Kom ki Garima hoti hai...so kisi Gujrati ko Hujju, Punjabi ko Panju ya Bengali to Bong  kehan ke kisi kom ka upman mat kerna. Aeisa kerne se tera hi Maan kum hoga....Vaat kare che..

I just loved those dilogue from new serial, Dharm-Patni telecaste on NDTV Imagine.

Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara

We were trying to watch this film since last week, but we can't. last Saturday we didn't got tickets. Sunday mum was not feeling well and I stooped Rit's  for buying tickets for show. and Finally this Saturday we made iot for the Movie.

Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara film by Zoya Aktar  teaches us to enjoy the life today rather than waiting for the future. It shows us that we have the power of overcoming our fear and challenging all those things we are scared off...Live Life As you can..!!as you wont get it Dobara...Life does not give you another chance” as the title says, so make merry every moment,

This one is one of the best film of the Year 2011 abd Farhan stole the show from this Movie. For all those workaholics out there...you can find what you are missing in your zindagi. Simply a must watch and it was a perfect movie for a weekend with our friends.

Excellent star cast, Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar and Kalki Koechlin.  Hrithik, Farhan and Abhay were simply great. I loved three of them as actors and it was indeed was great to watch all of them in one movie. Katrina Kaif was Awesome... Kalki had a small role and she was good in it...

Scenic location of Spain in whole movie and decent music. yes I do love few song...Senorita..the best song of movie and is sung by Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar & Abhay Deol itself. and Khabon ke parindey is mine all tive fav...and To Zinda ho tum – Just few lines about life are very very powerful lines and story line of movie goes with the Abhay Deol getting married and he is throwing bachelor  party for his childhood friends to go on vacation for Spain, and how they sort out their difference in thier life and overcome with their fears.

In this movie got to realise that live life as you can becoz you never know hows your tomorrow. Live Life as per your means...as how you love to live it....dont restrict your self by just tieing up Loads of work Around you...because at the end you need to find yourself..!
The poems recites by Farhan Akhatar are really great, just simple and straight, yet full of deep thought, inspire everyone a lot.

Pighle Neelam Sa (The poem comes after the trio’s deep-sea dive)
Pighle neelam sa behta ye sama,
Neeli neeli si khamoshiyan,
Na kahin hai zameen na kahin aasmaan,
Sarsaraati hui tehniyaan pattiyaan,
Keh raheen hai bas ek tum ho yahan,
Bas main hoon, meri saansein hain aur meri dhadkanein,
Aisi gehraiyaan, aisi tanhaiyaan, aur main... sirf main.
Apne hone par mujhko yakeen aa gaya.

English Translation
The moment seems to flow like a molten sapphire and there’s deep blue silence,
Neither there is earth below, nor sky above,
The rustling branches, leaves are saying that only you are here,
Only me, my breath and my heartbeat, (copyright Indicine.com)
Such deepness, such loneliness and me…only me,
It all makes me believe in my existence.

Ek Baat (comes when their journey with Laila comes to an end and depicts the feelings of Arjun\'s heart)
Ik baat honton tak hai jo aayi nahin
Bas ankhon say hai jhaankti
Tumse kabhi, mujhse kabhi
Kuch lafz hain woh maangti
Jinko pehanke honton tak aa jaaye woh
Aawaaz ki baahon mein baahein daalke ithlaye woh
Lekin jo yeh ik baat hai
Ahsas hi ahsas hai

Khushboo si hai jaise hawa mein tairti
Khushboo jo be-aawaaz hai
Jiska pata tumko bhi hai
Jiski khabar mujhko bhi hai
Duniya se bhi chupta nahin
Yeh jaane kaisa raaz hai

English Translation
A thing that still hasn’t come up to my lips and only peeks through my eyes,
It asks for words, sometimes from me and sometimes from you,
So that it can wear those words and come to the lips,
And so that it could be embraced by words..

But this thing is actually a feeling…only a feeling,
It’s like a fragrance floating in the air, (copyright Indicine.com)
Fragrance, which has no voice…and about which you know and I know too.
It is not hidden from the world, what kind of a secret it is?

Tu Kyun Rota Hai (The poem comes when Farhan is heartbroken after meeting his estranged dad)
Jab jab dard ka baadal chaya
Jab ghum ka saya lehraya
Jab aansoo palkon tak aya
Jab yeh tanha dil ghabraya
Humne dil ko yeh samjhaya
Dil aakhir tu kyun rota hai
Duniya mein yunhi hota hai
Yeh jo gehre sannaate hain
Waqt ne sabko hi baante hain
Thoda ghum hai sabka qissa
Thodi dhoop hai sabka hissa
Aankh teri bekaar hi namm hai
Har pal ek naya mausam hai
Kyun tu aise pal khota hai
Dil aakhir tu kyun rota hai

English Translation
Whenever the clouds of pain and sadness loomed,
Whenever tears came till the eyelashes,
Whenever this lonely heart got scared,
I told my heart, Oh Heart, why do you cry?
This is what happens in this world…

This deep silence…the world has distributed it to everyone,
Some sadness is a part of everyone’s life,
Some sunshine is a part of everyone’s life,
Your eyes are wet without any reason,
Every second is a new season, (copyright Indicine.com)
Why do you let go of such priceless moments?
Oh Heart, why do you cry?

Zinda Ho Tum (The poem comes in the climax)
Dilon mein tum apni betaabiyan leke chal rahe ho, toh zinda ho tum
Nazar mein khwaabon ki bijliyan leke chal rahe ho, toh zinda ho tum

Hawa ke jhokon ke jaise aazad rehna seekho
Tum ek dariya ke jaise lehron mein behna seekho
Har ek lamhe se tum milo khole apni baahein
Har ek pal ek naya samaa dekhiye

Jo apni aankhon mein hayraniyan leke chal rahe ho, toh zinda ho tum
Dilon mein tum apni betaabiyan leke chal rahe ho, toh zinda ho tum

English Translation
If you have eagerness in your heart, it means you are alive,
If your eyes are filled with dreams, it means you are alive
Learn to be free like the wind, (copyright Indicine.com)
Learn to flow freely like the river,
Embrace every moment with open arms,
See a new horizon every time with your eyes,
If you carry surprise in your eyes, it means you are alive,
If you have eagerness in your heart, it means you are alive…

Wishing my readers a happy month of Shravan..

The Auspicious month starts from July 31 & will continue till August 29.

The month of Shravan is the fifth month of the Hindu calender beginning from Chaitra, and is the most auspicious month of the Chaturmas. On Purnima or fullmoon day, or during the course of the month the star 'Shravan' rules the sky, hence the month is called Shravan. This month is spread out with innumerably religious festivals and ceremonies and almost all the days of this month are auspicious.

Shravan is considered the holiest month of the year. Each monday of this month, known as Shravana Somvar, is a special day in Shiva temples where the dharanatra hangs over the linga or the idol to bathe it with holy water, day and night. Devotees pile the linga high with Bel leaves and flowers and fast till sunset. The nandadeep (24 hour lamp) burns steadily in the temples.
The legend says that when the churning of oceans - Samudra Manthan - took place in the month of Shravan, fourteen different types of rubies came out. Thirteen of these were distributed amongst the demons, except Halahal (poison). Lord Shiva drank the Halahal and stored it in his throat. Hence the name Neelkantha (meaning blue throat) is attributed to Shiva. Read more about Lord Shiva

To reduce the strong effect of poison, Lord Shiva wore the crescent moon on his head. All the Gods, thereafter started offering the Ganges water to Lord Shiva to make lessen the effect of poison.

Since, this happened in the month of Shravana, since then the Shiva devotees offer the Ganges water in this month.

It is considered highly auspicious to wear a rudraksha in Shravan month. As, Mondays or Somvars of Shravan month are specially observed with austerity. All Mondays are devoted to the worship of Shiva as this day is sacred to Lord Shiva. No other Mondays of other months are so greatly honoured.

The belief is that in Shravan month, offering milk to Lord Shiva earns a lot of punya.
Things to do during Shravan month
• Wear Rudraksh, and also use a Rudraksh mala for Japa.
• Offer Lord Shiva Bhibhuti and place some on your forehead.
• Make offerings of Bel leaves, Panchamrut (milk, yoghurt, clarified butter, honey and jaggery) on Shiva Ling.
• Recite Shiv Chalisa and Aarti.
• Chant Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra.
• Fasting on Mondays. Girls who fast on all Mondays of Shravan get a good husband.

Significance of Shravan Weekdays
Each day in the month of Shravan has a special significance and has its own ritual.

Monday: Shiva Puja : Is the day of Lord Shiva worship.
Tuesday: Mangala Gouri Puja : Gauri is worshipped in every home, by women for the good health of their family.
