Most awaited Award Function Floriania IIFA Awards 2011 have been held yesterday in City of Toronto, and Heart of Canada, ON. at Rogers Centre. Many Star Cast came, all the way from India to attained this IIFA Award Functions. People over here in Ontario & all around were so excited to see them. Many waited at Green Carpet Lounge to have one Glimps of their favourite Star. The show was Sold Out. Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty was invited on Stage by Actor and representative for IIFA 2011 Mr. Anil Kapoor on stage to share his thought about Indian Film Industry. He gave good speech on Safe Ontario and gave good example of love of people for Films, saying, "from Brampton to Banglore and Mississauga to Mumbai, peoples loves towards Indian Films is same". And I must say the Opening ceremony was good one, in Canadian Way, I mean to say first performance, by local Canadian group, with Multicultural artist, showing audience how we are united and made Canada, Ontario our HOME away from HOME.
Tickets on-line on Kijiji were so expensive that we couldn't make it and Ritesh was mad on me for that as he was ready to spend $300 per tickets, and not me. Well We saw Live on Pay Per View on Bell T.V. at Friends place. After watching IIFA Awards Live on T.V. I was relived and reassure myself for not regretting to attain this most happening function in Toronto. It was like kind of OK, OK going on. Host of the Show, Ritesh Deshmukh & Boman Irani, both were so boring. they were trying their best to make comedy, but were unsuccessful. I follow watching IIFA live on TV till 1.15 pm after that I gave up as nothing much exciting was going on. Hope people over their did enjoyed lot.
Though I was not there, but was happy to see Star Caste appreciating People of Ontario for their Warm Welcome in Toronto. Hope they all had Good time here in Canada.
