♥ Love is in the Air ♥

February, month of ♥ love is already on and with that love is blooming in air, isn't it !!! As soon as its February, it hit Love in my mind, Valentines Day, Roses, Gift, Chocolate, Teddy's, Cupid ♥ and what not. Nothing special in mind to do on this Valentines Day, but still feeling excited. I was talking to my school friend this morning and we were ranting for what silly stuff we use to do on Valentines Day in those innocent school days and silly collage days. Being studied in girls collage, always boys were hunting for girls on this special days, Its kind of Love Mela (fair). As being not having any BF, it was always fun to watch lovers exchanging flower and gifts and shy eye sight. We use to have a dress code to were pink and white or red for this particular day :) Aahhh those were the days :) I miss all that fun. 

Later when I got engaged with by better half we exchanged gifts. Its always a challenge for girls to get gift for Boy as there are not many choices, isn't it!!!  For Girls, they have tons of choices. We are married now but I feels its challenge to buy gift for him even now. Anyways, at home, our first born is more excited to celebrate Valentines Day ♥. She already got treats for her friends and gifts for he teacher and her baby sister. She did picked up cute key chain for her and one for me too.  I am planing to do photo shoot for ♥day at home, hopefully will do it soon. Looking fwd for weekend as it is Valentines Day♥ and also Family Day long weekend holiday on Monday.

Fabulous Frosty February

February 1st, started with Snow storm and it's all white all around with cold and chilly weather these days. We Survived and no complains for that. In fact we loved February snowy weather as temp goes up while snowing and we got chance to go for Snow sleighing. We have park near by our home, like5 mins walking distance where there is hill area and football ring with lake near by. Last week on Saturday we went for Snow sleighing. Daddy was working on Saturdays so no point to count on him, I got call from one of our friend that they are coming for snow sleighing and if we want to join them. I didn't gave second thought and said yes. Thanks to myself that I took chance with 2 1/2 years toddler to go for it who don't want to were snow shoes. After much difficulty and many try I took her with regular shoes and I am sure she was feeling cold in her feet, still she enjoyed there and being worried mumma, I was carrying her half the time we were there. She eat snow and keep saying to all I ate snow man. It was great fun, we all enjoyed it lot. that next morning when my little one got waked up and ask me to go for Snow Sleighing again. #suchafunday#snowsleighing#friends

Ananyaa was suppose to attained her classmate B'day party and theme was Spa B'day Party. These girl of mine, gave me hard time to get dressed up. but let me tell you, spa b'day theme was hit. All girls were very excited and they had a great time pampering themselves that they don't want to come home after party timings was done. They had manicure pedicure, Facial and god know what else. She had beautiful Nail paint and nail art on it. Now she is eating my head to have similar kind of B'day party theme for her next year. I said yes and saved myself for time being. As she was showing her nail paint to all, my little one got excited and want to have her nail painted, and  for that she was requesting me, her big sister to do so. Finally after much thought and giving her instruction not to put hand in mouth, I painted her nail with red nail paint and she was happiest person in my home. I must say her baby finger and tinny toes looks so cute :) but I missed to take pic :(  #KidsB'dayPartyFun

And warped up my weekend with having yummy dinner on Sunday night watching Film Fare Awards 2015 on Sony T.V.  I loved opening ceremony performance by Ranbir Kapoor. He was at his best. I am still humming that song...Entertainment, Entertainment....Entertainment....Entertainment :) did any one watch that !!!!

Our Rajashthani Folk Dance Performance :)

Finally Its over!!! We had Post celebration for 66th India Republic Day Celebration on 1st February. Were anyone can participate presenting any cultural program from their respective state. We enroll our group to participate to represent Gujarat with Garba, but some one has already given thier entry for it. Finally we decided to represent Rajashthan this time and we came up to do rajasthani fold dance "CHIRMI". We all ladies worked so hard to do practice being in so many other commitment in daily life with work and home. We were in total 8 participant and all married, having kids, Home to manage and work. But I guess we all were blessed with such a supportive family members, where we have given time for practice for our rajasthani dance, When I was on stage, I feel so proud to be a part of 66th republic day celebration which was going on. It feel great when you celebrate for your country being away from one. It was great experience and it was lot of fun watching other states performance from India. 

There were many issue in last week of of our practice and we all meet just day before our performance. We had some other program for India Tourism and we were busy to prepare for performance in that so couldn't do practice for our rajasthani dance. We gave our half day in practice. Still after I saw our performance video, I feel we could have done more better. There is lack of synchronization, and also some minor mistakes. But I think it went well. Hope to do more better  same performance next time. Finger crossed !!! We have done practice for this dance watching video on You Tube who has performed this same dance in 2010 by vanasthali vidyapeeth students and they won many prizes for it. We coulden't match them, they are the best and we did our best on that same Chirmi dance. Credit for Dance step is all them, we have changed few step in ours dance. Hatts off to those girls who were dancing taking three pots on head balancing them so well. We just mange to take one pot and that also we tied it up.

Chirmi is a traditional Rajasthani folk song. Chirmi is Tree (in guju Chanothi Tree). In this song a married girl climb on CHIRMI tree and waits for her father and brother, who are on their way to see her at her Home

My opinion for movie ~ PK

Must watch. Everything in the movie is just plain silly but it shines because of the message it tries to convey. Probably people are not taking the message of the movie into right direction. This movie shows the practices of all religions in a respectful manner by means of an innocent character PK. Religion can only hold you by your boundaries but humanity has no religion. It's a must watch for every single person on this universe, Some people are just taking the point other way of insulting religion, which is completely wrong. Calm down silly people, It's just a Movie which carries message. It is not hurting any religious sentiments but I guess it is hurting their ego as the fact is that, someone has flash lights on the those wrong numbers, and may be still they are keep dialing that wrong number :) lol 

Well music of movie is ok. I like few songs from movie. other than that Amir khan was at his best and Anushka looks cute in that new hair style and Sushant was good too...will say if he get a chance he can really act well. Loved the bond between PK and Jaggu. For me, it's a beautiful tale of friendship between two strangers from different planets.  

Was watching Star Guild Awards 2015 last night, and glad to see Mr. Hirani taking Award for Best Film of the Year 2014 - PK.

Random rambling of January :)

* As usual, it's busy over at my end with kids, work and cold weather. Last week was freezing cold weather. It went down to -35 degree C., but we survived. No complains :) #cold#weather

* Aaryu these days eating more of paper and cardboard at home and now mommy is getting worried that she might have Iron and Zinc deficiency which make her carve to eat those non edible stuff. Need to go for Doc. check up for her for sure and to pay attention on her diet. I read lot about it and it's says kids with lack of Iron and Zinc may eat paper and cardboard or any other stuff. She drink enough Milk but she don't eat food properly. #worried#mumma#baby#aaryana

* I am excited for our dance performance on stage for republic day celebration which is on 1st Feb 2015 as 26th January falls this year on working day. Our practice is going in full form and looking fwd for the event. This time we are doing Rajasthani folk dance "Chirmi" for competition and Bollywood song dance performance as well. I fell great to be in group and be active this days. I was missing all this after I was away from India. Our Last performance was in October 2014, for World Women Dance Feast. We represents Gujarat for Garba in that performance. It's great feeling to go on stage for performance for after 15 years of my Life. #excited#me#dance

* Baby talk with Aaryana:-

for some reason she hit me hair brush very hard and I was mad at her. and said stupid to her.

Aaryu :- fake crying and said to daddy, Muuma ye stupid kitdhu mane. (We all love the way she complain about us at home, when any of us will scold her )

After some time, I was reading book and she came to me 

Aaryu - Mumma, (putting her hand on my head) Mumma tane bo vagyu (did you got hurt lot?)

Mumma- (fake crying) Yes, you hit me so hard...mmmmmmm 

Aaryu - (very innocently) Soooory Mumma..and she Hugged me...

* Ananyaa had enough B'day parties in last 2 weeks. These kids are seriously party animal. She got one cute return gift. Which was Paint your own place setting. It was totally fun painting with her, giving instruction and then correcting if she is doing wrong. We painted the plate, mug and bowl and then left it for drying for 48 hours. After that we baked it on 450 degree C for 30 minutes so paint get set permanent on it and It's safe to use for eating. Colors truned out good after baking on it. We loved it doing that project together. Thanks to her friend for giving such a cute return gift. #painting#plate#FunatHome

It's Makersankranti Today, Uttrayan , kite flying day. As per Hindu religion, It's time for sun to change direction, change in direction of wind and harvest time to begin in various part of India. Time to have a new spirit to do new in Life with new month of new year. I wish with all this change, it also bring change in peoples life to think positively and act wisely, with that note Happy Makarsankranti to all. 

What's app on cell ph has made us so close to our loved one. Was happy reading messages from back home and watching pics from all Friends and Family on their terrace of Home having blast on kite flying Day. That just make me feel, I miss all the fun. But I am happy that at least they enjoyed being there and we enjoyed making and eating Til chikki. :)

Today morning, my first born was talking to her aunt on Face time early in the morning, they all were on terrace, having fun. She was happy to see them enjoying. I left them in between to work, but I am sure, she would like to be there some day with them to enjoy kite flying festival in India.

Uttarayan reminds me of our trip to Beach last year, where we get chance to fly Kites with Kids, We had so much fun enjoying at beach that day. Pic from there...

New Year - 2015

Bye – bye 2014. We are heading together, towards 2015 step by step, towards the future. Where ever this road may take us. It's the time to look forward. The time of change. The time for new starts, new ideas and new dreams. The time for old and new friends. The time to enjoy the life, to think positively and to face the new challenges. Let's start this new circle of 12 months, 365 days of happiness, joy, sadness and sorrow. Welcome 2015! Please, be better than the previous one. Don't let us down just be the perfect year that I've been waited for too long.

Past year had definitely teached me many imp lesson of life. I wish I could go back and correct some of my mistake. Like every year, I have more hopes from coming year 2015. Lets wait and see what 2015 unfold for all of us.
